Sales & Field Marketing Associate

BHE is a leading provider of custom research services and novel analytics platforms to life science companies, and is growing rapidly.  To meet our ambitious Business Development and Marketing goals for 2018, we’re looking to add a Sales & Field Marketing Associate to our Business Development (BD) team. This hybrid BD/Marketing role will support the dynamic strategy of our custom services and products, including the widely-used Instant Health Data (IHD) platform. 
 
The Sales & Marketing Field Associate will play a key role in lead generation and overall marketing support for BHE’s recently expanded team. We are looking for someone who is an outgoing team-player that is also not afraid to ask questions or to roll up their sleeves and dive in when it comes to customer and prospect outreach. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in getting their foot in the door of a dynamic business intelligence firm in the life sciences sector. There is ample room for growth for someone interested in meeting a high-demand for customer engagement and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation and client prospecting
  • External outreach and coordination for BD & Services team
  • Conduct thorough market research and market trend analyses.
  • Gather and report customer intelligence to BD Team, including briefing documents, client org charts, etc)
  • Closely monitor competitor strategies and build detailed competitive analyses of competitor products.
  • Work within SalesForce to track sales opportunities and report on pipeline progress.
  • Assist with the creation of various keywords, language, literature, signage, merchandise, and other materials to be used in BD meetings and at trade shows.
  • Propose, develop, execute, and report on sales enablement email campaigns.
  • Social media monitoring and prospecting.
  • Assist in overall monthly and campaign level reporting of BD and marketing KPI performance vs. goals.


Experience and Proficiencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or other related field
  • 2-4 years in Sales or Marketing, experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication and strong public speaking skills,  as well as an aptitude for interpersonal relationship-building and negotiating
  • Understanding of SEO and keyword strategies a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Salesforce, Zoom, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, and Prezi
